The best way to set a date. Add a date picker.
Use the Date Picker block in the Jetpack Contact Form block to allow the user to easily enter a date.

Notes
- Part of the Form block.
- The Date field can be set to Required.
- Field settings are Default value and ID.
- It doesn’t seem to work properly; when I chose a date there was an S behind the day number.
- The Date picker can’t handle a custom date format of:
